Having fun with the slide at the 'hotel de Bates'
Finally after all the delay's we got into our house only to find out one of the a/c units had gone out. Not a big deal though because we still have one working and it keeps the side of the house we really live in cold. Oh but nothing has seemed to work out perfectly so why should this? Sure enough last Monday the other unit went out!!! We stayed there for a few nights but after I had an emotional breakdown from being on the go all day in 115 degree heat and sleeping in a house that was 95 degrees (although it was some of the best sleep the boys have ever had) we went to a hotel! It was super nice and we had such a good time! Thanks Brock for saving my sanity. Then luckily some good friends offered up their home since they were leaving for a week. We quickly took them up on their offer. Well after a week of living the good life at our friends house I guess having no a/c in the summer in the desert isn't so bad after all.
