Random Updates of the Boys

Some random cute/funny pics of the boys and what we've been up to. . .

Owen and Clay love to put all the bed pillows from our house into our bathtub and just chill.

Owen tries to convince me that he can still wear his 18 month old clothes, he looks European to me.

Owen likes to pee anywhere he thinks it's funny, and frankly so do we.

Clay has found his 'cheese' face maybe we'll get some full face shots of him finally (at the Shamu Believe show at Sea World in March the boys loved it!).

Brock can really focus on his task since the addition of his new co-worker (thanks Jordy!) note: typical Clay when Brock comes home the poor boy just can't stand not being held when dad comes home.

Clay got his first haircut from mom (finally at 18 months) that turned out pretty good if I can say so myself.

We got to spend a few days with Baby Leah in Las Vegas, Owen's favorite girl cousin on the Ohlson side, he couldn't love her more.

'Code Red' Ultrasound

I had the second ultrasound and surprise surprise it's GIRL not a boy. Oh no just kidding still FOR SURE a boy, but everything was gone. No dialated kidneys, no cysts in his brain, and no bleeding around my placenta. I think those ultrasound techs can just get a little over zealous sometimes. It was fun to see the little guy though he was moving and shaking it was crazy how much he was moving. He kept getting up on his knees like he was praying or something, too cute! Everyone keeps asking about names and no we don't have one we never seem to decide until the day we leave the hospital. With Clay we actually decided at 8 months he was going to be Cash and we felt really good about it but obviously things just seem to change for us when we see the little baby. Some names we are considering are: Cort, Gabe, Gage, Reid, Crew, Cruz, Drew, Beau, Jett, Bennett, Vance, Barrett, Tallon, Ryder. Is that a random selection or what! Names are deleted and added daily so it seems it will take us until the hospital.

Air Force Inspires Fun Times

I really do love the Air Force because of the way it forces you to make the most of where you are living, you know it isn't forever and you want to see everything the place has to offer. I lived my whole life in HB and when I think of all the things I didn't do in and around there and it makes me a little sad. This weekend we headed up to the White Tank Mountains (just about 15 minutes from us) and spent some time in the Arizona desert on a little hike. It is so beautiful and the smell of the desert is wonderful it really is a close second to the sea air (maybe sometimes better). I had no camera this weekend but there was this little playground there that we stopped at and had a great time playing. When it was time to go for some lunch Owen had to have a little moment with the whale he had been riding. He asked us to please wait while he patted the whale gave it a hug and a kiss on the cheek and said "bye little buddy take care I'll see you next time". I sure do love my little O, he's so sweet. After lunch we headed out to PIR (Phoenix International Raceway) just about 15 minutes away from us too, and took in the NASCAR scene. We thought it was just some smaller NASCAR race but Jr. and Jeff Gordon were there and these race fans were SERIOUS. Talk about tailgating I've never seen anything like this before. After naps and dinner we headed out to Westgate (where the superbowl was held) and found this water show that competes with the LV Bellagio show (well maybe it's half as good) but Clay had a great time dancing to the music and water and then the boys went crazy when we found this little water splash area. It was such a perfect family date night. So thanks Air Force for getting us out there it was a great day!

Today Owen found the jacket that he wore to Jordan and Lindseys wedding 2 1/2 years ago and insisted wearing it to church. Surprisingly it fit him quite well and he looked so handsome!
