4th of July - Lake Powell

Brock and I in one of the Canyons near Antelope Island

Our sweet O loved the scenery

Brock and our boys sitting on the ledge where they liked to smash rocks

Captain and Co-Captain Clay would cry if he was't sitting on his daddy's lap

Owen focused on the skier so he would be ready to throw up the flag he was so protective of everyone's safety

Brock skiing - I love how skiers look so cool in photos the low turn, spraying water, and the beautiful rocks it's awesome

Earl the Pearl showing off his disc skills

O and Clay with the Bates girls getting ready for a tube run Clay chickened out last minute

O and Carter at the 'tippie top of the highest mountain' as O would say, it was their favorite place to throw/smash rocks

I told Clay to hug himself after getting hurt on the rocks so he did while saying cheese

We headed out to Powell again for a 3 day trip this time with G&G Ohlson and our good friends the Bates from Arizona. Owen and their little boy Carter (who he calls the 'pretend Carter' not to be confused with the real Carter from HB) are great friends and the Bates 2 girls are so good with Clay and enjoy playing with Owen too so it was surprisingly stress free and really fun for the kids. The weather was really nice hot one day and then overcast the next and it would cool of nicely at night. It was as though the stars were aligning for a good time at Powell. Brock rode the ski, wake board, and the ever so famous disc. While Owen enjoyed a few inner tube runs. Clay and mom just enjoyed riding along watching all the fun. Although I did try the disc but unfortunately the 8 month prego tummy was just a tad too big and I couldn't get my footing. Good thing about trying the disc is I think it made the baby drop and I now am officially feeling some good Braxton Hicks Contractions so we are still keeping our fingers crossed for another early delivery! It was our last Powell trip for the season so it was great to have it end on such a good note.
