Loving all the gifts
A dear friend Karin from our church was sweet enough to spearhead a little dinner at Macaroni Grill tonight to celebrate the upcoming birth of our 3rd boy. It was so nice to have so many fun, kind, uplifting girls in one place. I feel really blessed to have met so many wonderful women here. We have moved into this area all crazy. . . buying a house then not buying one, living in TLF for 3 months, getting pregnant, needing to move out of TLF overnight, buying a house and it taking so long we almost became homeless again, no a/c for 1 1/2 weeks, finding out Brock is being deployed, etc. It has just been a crazy time for us and an emotional one for me and yet we've managed to make some good friends who are not crazy! (you'd think people who are acting crazy would only attract crazy people). Dinner was great and we all had a fun time just chatting the night away like girls can do. We had some delicious chocolate cake from Costco for desert and I believe I was the only one who ate my whole slice and if it wouldn't have been so embarassing I would've finished off some of the other girls cakes! The little guy and I got some super cute things. I was a super fun time!
