Family is gone and we are now just the five of us. How I love when family comes to visit it really is a joy to have like minded, loving people around but, it is equally as nice when it is just the 5 of us. I think the anticipation was more than Davis could handle he hadn't had a BM for 13 days and now that family is gone and the blessing is over he let it fly, literally, about 1 cup flew out I'd say. It was a beautiful blessing. Brock did a wonderful job keeping his focus and composure considering Davis kept sliding around in the blessing blanket and he felt like Davis was going to slip out down to the ground at any moment the entire time. We wanted Davis to have a bit of both of his brothers so he used Clay's blessing blanket and wore Owen's blessing outfit. Clay didn't understand but Owen thought it was really cool that Davis was wearing his outfit. We attend a wonderful ward where they take serious the term 'ward family' I really feel like I am surrounded by family when I am there. Some members were thoughtful/kind/loving enough to write down the blessing Brock administered. Here it is Davis . . .
Davis at this time bless you to feel the great love that your Father in Heaven has for you that through your family here you gain understanding of the Plan of Salvation and for you to recongaze your role that is His Plan recongize the joy in serving others, and participating in many wonderful things that will be available to you by your membership in church and through your knowledge of this great plan.
Understanding and wisdom recongize truth. Seek out truth that you can be an example to those around you and your older brothers. You have already been that source of pure joy and goodness. We bless you at this time to be a contribution to your family, be that light to all. We bless you will find joy in learning that you can see the vlue in edua=cation and again seeking out truth to guide you through the difficulties and challenges you will face in this world.

Bless you may find life examples through your older brother Jeasus Christ. Learn of Him, emulate those things. Love, Teach through the Spirit. BLess you with the desire to share the gospel through example, show others what joy can come through living the gospel
