After much debate on what to do I have enrolled Owen is a preschool for a total of 2 1/2 hours a day 2 days a week.
Today Owen started preschool with Mrs. Sterr, she use to be in our ward and is wonderful!. She has her Masters, has taught elementary school for many years, a mother to 6, and on top of all that a professor during the summer at our local Jr. College! We went to the open house on Monday night and Owen was very timed and shy and I wasn't too sure how it was all going to go down the next day. This morning he woke up all excited, ate his eggs and milk, got himself dressed in his first day of Preschool clothes, put 2 books in his backpack and was ready to go! When I dropped him off he just ran in started playing with one of the kids and said "bye mom" without even looking at me. It was so sad for me but so great for him! That night at dinner he told us he is learning about the color Yellow and the shape Triangle and as Brock looked at me rolling his eyes I reassured him it is more for the social and routine development then education. It was a great day and he is excited to go back Thursday.
