Our Air Force Adventure Begins AZ to AL

SWEET HOME ALABAMA!! We made it safe and sound. We had a great trip from Arizona to Alabama. We spent 4 and a half days getting to Alabama. Brock drove us through the night Tuesday from Phoenix to San Antonio (that's 14 hours of driving). We stayed in San Antonio to visit with my dear friend Bre Jackson who has two girls within weeks of age of Owen and Clay, the kids had a ton of fun playing and I got a mini makeover with new makeup and a new hair cut - Thanks Bre! We hit the road for Louisana but on our way out of Texas we stopped at a small bbq joint just outside of Houston where Brock swears he had the best ribs (besides his mothers of course). We spent 2 days in Louisana taking the cajun country bayou backroad to New Orleans. We stopped on the way to see the Tabasco manufacturing plant - so SPICY! When we got to New Orleans we went to the French Market, took a buggy ride around town and had the BEST crab cakes for dinner, after dinner we got caught in the worst rain storm!! Owen was squealing with delight as we ran to our hotel but Clay was hysterically crying the whole way. Then it was off to Alabama, it has been beautiful so far, I think we will have a good time here.

How angry does this lady look to be stuck in the rain!
